Is Sui Wallet now Slush?
November 2, 2026
Yes. On 24 April 2025, Mysten Labs announced that Sui Wallet, its browser extension, and Stashed, its zkLogin web wallet, were becoming one product called Slush. The change shipped as a normal update to the existing extension and app. Accounts, recovery phrases and addresses stayed the same, so users didn't have to migrate anything. Slush is the official Sui wallet today.
What changed
- Name and design. The Sui Wallet Chrome extension became the Slush extension.
- Stashed features moved in. zkLogin sign-in (Google, Apple, Facebook or Twitch, with no recovery phrase) and shareable links for sending assets are now part of Slush. Stashed Links became Slush Links.
- More platforms. Slush runs as a Chrome extension, iOS and Android apps, and a web app at slush.app.
What didn't change
Your keys. Mysten's announcement says that "accounts, seed phrases, and wallet addresses all stay exactly the same." Slush uses the same derivation as Sui Wallet, so a recovery phrase from Sui Wallet restores the same addresses in Slush. See how Sui addresses are derived.
Account types in Slush
- Recovery phrase accounts are self-custodial. You hold the mnemonic and the private key.
- Social login accounts use zkLogin. Your OAuth login controls the address. There's no mnemonic to back up, but you depend on keeping access to that OAuth account.
Both kinds can sit side by side in one wallet.
For developers
If old code or docs refer to "Sui Wallet" or "Stashed", the wallet now registers as Slush. Apps that discover wallets through the Wallet Standard, such as dApp Kit's connect button, list Slush automatically. Don't hard-code wallet names to detect a wallet. Mysten's TypeScript SDK docs have a Slush Wallet section covering the web wallet integration.
Watch for fakes
The rebrand caused confusion, and Mysten warned about it at the time: "If you see an unfamiliar download link or app claiming to be Slush, steer clear." Install Slush only from slush.app or the official store listings linked from it, and never enter your recovery phrase on a website.
